What Mormons Do Tell

While walking with Matt last night, we were discussing this blog and WhatMormonsDontTell.com. The consensus we reached was that no matter what their arguements, lies, and propoganda says, they cannot accept a living prophet and modern day revelation.
Every one of their panic attacks is based on misunderstanding of the scriptures and the nature of God. It is impossible to separate modern prophets from the Book of Mormon, but just for laughs, lets say that we could. Even then, these misunderstandings could be cleared up by using two separate references, The Bible and The Book of Mormon. Then, with modern revelation and a prophet, there really is no question that cannot be clarified.
We will always have people who still want to "spin" things so they can commit sin, but the big picture can be perfectly clear.

The first lie, that the "Mormon Jesus" (huh? Do they really think there is more than one?) could not have become a God, because he has always been a God. Their "proof" of this? Because Jehovah is refered to as "everlasting" in several scriptures. What is "everlasting?"

Easton's 1897 Bible Dictionary:Everlasting
eternal, applied to God (Gen. 21:33; Deut. 33:27; Ps. 41:13;
90:2). We also read of the "everlasting hills" (Gen. 49:26); an
"everlasting priesthood" (Ex. 40:15; Num. 25:13). (See ETERNAL.)

So, either the definition has changed, which sometimes happens, but not likely, or the perpetuators of this lie are "wresting" the scriptures.
